Nothing Is Published on Recollection Alone
We research and check every answer before it prints. That's the rule — no exceptions, no matter who wrote the question.
How Every Answer Is Verified
We research each answer against the code editions the jurisdiction has adopted. The adopted edition beats the newest edition, always — and we label the edition we used, so you can open the same source and check us. For Book One, that means ASME CSD-1 · 2021, ASME BPVC Section I · 2023, and NFPA 85 · 2021 — the editions Ohio law adopts, not just the newest ones on the shelf.
When something is field practice or trade tradition, we say so, plainly. It never gets blended into a code answer, and a practice note never stands in for a code citation.
The Sweeps
- The whole manuscript gets checked against its sources, start to finish (the method is written up in the book's Appendix B).
- Both mock-exam answer keys get re-checked entry by entry — all of them, not a sample.
- Every bit of arithmetic gets worked again, independently.
The Public Correction Loop
Accuracy isn't a launch-day claim — it's how we work. When an error is confirmed, it goes on the public corrections page and gets fixed in the next printing.
